the human species is evolving and i'm one of the first to be symptomatic, like those guys in heroes and the uncanny x-men, only i don't see how this can help me survive for times to come.

grrrrrrr!!!!!!! it's frustrating that i may have adult-onset attention deficit disorder. i may be the first case ever.

i'm having a lot of difficulty concentrating. it puzzles me how, with this disability (or special ability, as what the differently-abled like to call it), i got through med school. i spend a lot of time trying to get comfortable, a lot of time (like most of the day). i've tried just starting to study without things in order, but i end up just reading the same phrases over and over without real comprehension because i'm itching to get the other stuff done. another thing that frustrates me is that what i need to get out of the way are the trivial things; like watching some of the many shows i like, or checking my email, or cooking my comfort-food-of-the-minute, or cleaning the printer head, or hugging the dogs, and so on and so forth. it's almost like OCD.

a while ago, when i've finally settled enough to get some real reviewing done, i found myself more receptive of the study material. the problem is that whenever my animated light bulb turns on, it is immediately followed by the sounds of joey de leon singing itaktak mo and the sexbomb dancers cheering me on!

weh! i can't win! why!?!
