2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?

none since we've moved from my childhood home. then, we used both.

4. Do you hang mistletoe?
no

5. When do you put your decorations up?
then, first week of december. my roomie put up a paper parol on the second week of december last year.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?
lechong yobabs

7. Favorite holiday memory as a child:
all the food, ice cream and presents

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
8 years old. saint nicholas --> sinterklaas --> santa claus. this mythological holiday creature was an actual human. the whole truth about saint nicholas and his contribution to gift-giving tradition i just found out now. in gist, sailors celebrated the feast of their patron, saint nicholas, by gathering in villages, where they'd get gifts from fairs for their kids. also, in england, parish priests and bishops turned over their church functions to the boys, who in turn, i guess, maxed out their holy powers on the elders.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
this year, i opened all of my gifts on christmas eve

10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree?
have the help do it

love to look at it, dread being exposed to it

barely make my way across the rink

ha! money. and a copy of the family car key.

family and food

this year we had fried chicken delivered. last year, i think we (in the hospital) had pizza and mojos. in my childhood home, ham. and pansit (?!?!?!).
